What’s Hot This Summer: Sertanejo Music

So, we travel the world, we cool off with sophisticated cocktails and fancy swimming pools, but what are we listening this summer? What styles of music dominates the 2012 summertime’s scene?

Well, with so many creative DJs still developing symphonies from electronic bits, it’s no wonder the world’s most famous clubs are still under the influence of the up-tempo house music. But, in a world where everything, including music, is based on technology, is no wonder that the thrill of a really melodic line makes you stagger, whatever your preferences are.

Although this season seems to pump further electronic music into the clubs, both radios and beach parties look like taking another turn, greeting a more sensual style such as Sertanejo Music.

Original from Brazil, Musica Sertaneja or Sertanejo has traveled the world, becoming one of the most popular trends this summer. The upbeat romantic rhythms of Sertanejo have experienced a rapidly evolution lately thanks to several megahits that have risen to the top of worldwide music charts, such as: Ai Se Eu Te Pego - Michel Teló, Balada Boa - Gustavo Lima or Um Beijo- Luan Santana, which convinced everyone to take a break from electronic music, at least for a while.
And let’s be honest, how can you not love the sweet Portuguese language and the sexy Latin vibe accompanying such a mellow sound, especially now, when everything around urges you to party and lounging?

I’ll say that there’s nothing better for a chic pool party or an epic afternoon on the beach, than a hot Sertanejo Song able to heat up any atmosphere out there.
